Nanosaur 2

You have arrived at this page because your video driver requires an update. Some drivers that ship with Windows computers have either no support or only basic OpenGL 3D support or contain bugs and therefore need to be updated to get the full feature set required for our games. You will also get the best performance and latest features from your video hardware. Below you will find links to the download sections of several video hardware manufacturers. This is where you will locate the appropriate driver for your video hardware. Please perform the following actions:

    - Note the indentifier below (provided in-game by your video hardware)
(this will be "not supplied" if you came to this page manually, see below on how to identify your hardware)

    - Locate the same manufacturer from the list of links at the bottom of this page
(if your string starts with Microsoft, look after that. For instance "Microsoft Intel" is Intel hardware)

    - Click on the appropriate link and locate the necessary driver update for your hardware

If you don't see your video hardware manufacturer below, please contact our support staff and we will try to assist you. Please provide as much information about your system as possible.

Note: If your video hardware is identified as "Undefined" or "Not Supplied" below, then you can determine the manufacturer & model of your video card by performing the following actions:

    - Go to: Start Menu->Settings->Control Panel
    - Select (double click) 'Display'
    - Select the 'Settings' tab
    - Click on the 'Advanced' button
    - In the 'Advanced' window, select the 'Adapter' tab
    - Note the information provided here

Notes
3D Labs 3D Labs Drivers Although we don't have any of their cards, 3D Labs seems to be aimed at high end artists and have support for OpenGL.
ATI Technologies ATI chipset Drivers ATI Radeon video cards are our #1 recommendation, they offer an affordable range of cards with good drivers.
Creative Labs Creative Labs Drivers Some cards may only be defined with the name 'Blaster' or '3DLabs'. When accessing the driver page at the Creative site, select 'Graphics' in the first column to start the driver location process.
Dell Computers Dell Computers Drivers Most Dell computers use low-end pseudo 3D Intel or S3 chipsets
eMachines eMachines Drivers Most eMachine computers use low-end pseudo 3D Intel or S3 chipsets
Gateway Gateway Drivers Most Gateway computers use low-end pseudo 3D Intel or S3 chipsets
HP & Compaq HP & Compaq Drivers Many HP & Compaq computers use low-end pseudo 3D Intel or S3 chipsets
Intel Corporation Intel chipset Drivers Enter your chipset id (ie, 810, 84815E, etc.) in the "Find Drivers" box in the left sidebar. You can also use the "Graphics" selection in that bar.
Matrox Graphics Matrox chipset Drivers It is recommended you download the 'latest' drivers and not the 'Microsoft Certified' drivers since Microsoft requires they remove functionality
Microsoft DirectX Downloads You can get the latest version of DirectX here
nVidia nVidia chipset Drivers nVidia is our 2nd choice in video cards! In most cases you will select the 'Graphics Driver' option to start the location process
S3 Graphics S3 chipset Drivers It is recommended you use the 'all available drivers' link
Sis Sis chipset Drivers It is best if you can get your driver from the computer maker; if you can't try the Sis reference driver
STB STB Video Drivers

STB is out of business ... maybe it's time to get an ATI Radeon!
If the link provided does not provide adequate support, please try the information provided for the 3Dfx chipset.

VIA Technologies VIA chipset Drivers It is best if you can get your driver from the computer maker; if you can't try the VIA reference driver
3Dfx 3Dfx chipset Drivers 3DFX is out of business ... maybe it's time to get an ATI Radeon!
The link provided will assist you in finding the latest driver, although it may not be possible to locate a compatible driver for your version of Windows.

Note: There is a comprehensive video driver list availalble on the internet. Click here to go to that list, which provides drivers for almost any card. There are many, so it can be difficult to locate yours, but almost without fail it will be if you are patient enough to read carefully through the list of available companies.

Microsoft also offers a driver page for one of its games. This driver page is not guaranteed to supply links to any OpenGL drivers. We are including it in case it is of any use to the end user.
